TwoSet Violin, comprising violinists Eddy Chen and Brett Yang, has announced the resumption of its formerly postponed tour.

Yang’s application for an O-1B visa to work in the US was denied in May this year, leaving the duo no choice but to postpone five West Coast concerts in July as Yang made a second visa application.

’After visa challenges that delayed our original plans, we’re thrilled to announce that Brett has received his US visa and we’re ready to bring our world tour to you!,’ said the duo on its website.

TwoSet Violin was scheduled to perform concerts in Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles in July. Speaking via a YouTube video, the pair stated they were able secure new dates for performances in San Francisco and Seattle, albeit without symphony orchestra due to unavailability of the ensembles. These performances, on 29 and 30 September in San Francisco and 17 October in Seattle, will be accompanied by pianist Sophie Druml.

The duo was unable to reschedule its engagements in Pittsburgh, Los Angeles and San Diego and hopes to confirm dates next year.
