Six awardees have been named in recognition for their contributions that are enriching the chamber music field

Chamber Music America (CMA) has announced the recipients of its member-nominated annual awards. Established in 2024, the awards celebrate artists, ensembles and organisations whose contributions are enriching the chamber music field.

Camerata Pacifica has been named Ensemble of the Year, while Andy Milne’s Chimeric Reveries for the Isidore Quartet and Andy Milne was named Commission of the Year.

The Telegraph Quartet received Album of the Year for its recording Edge of the Storm, while Patricia Kristof Moy received Community Impact/Presenter of the Year for the California-based Music at Kohl Mansion.

The Bel Canto Duo was named Interdisplinary Collaboration of the Year for Taking Flight, which utilised filmmaking, original music and narrative storytelling, and Howard Mandel was named Arts Advocate of the Year.

Each recipient receives $1,000 and will be honoured at the Awards Luncheon on 21 August 2026, during CMA’s National Conference in Chicago.

The six awardees join the previously announced recipients Takács Quartet (Richard J. Bogomolny National Service Award), Imani Winds (Michael Jaffee Visionary Award) and Poiesis Quartet (Cleveland Quartet Award), who will also be celebrated during the conference in Chicago.
