The Paddington Trio has joined the roster of Italian artist manager Leonardo Finotti, for representation in Italy.

’We couldn’t be happier to announce the start of our collaboration with Leonardo Finotti in Italy,’ the trio told The Strad.

’Leonardo brings exceptional experience working with chamber music ensembles both in Italy and beyond, and it’s a real privilege to be joining his wonderful roster of artists.

’From our very first conversations, we recognised a shared vision and approach to what comes next for us, and we knew this partnership was the right fit, both personally and professionally. We look forward to many inspiring adventures in Italy in the coming seasons!’

The ensemble joins the roster which includes artists such as Natalie Clein, Antje Weithaas, Philippe Graffin, Ning Feng, Gábor Takács-Nagy and ensembles such as Camerata Bern and the Novo Quartet.

The partnership comes as the trio looks forward to a season of highlights, including performances at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Jordan Hall and the Lucerne Chamber Music Society.

Additionally, the trio will appear at the Helsinki Seriös and West Cork Chamber Music Festivals, and will be ensemble-in-residence at New England Conservatory from the autumn of 2026.

Comprising Finnish violinist Tuulia Hero, Irish cellist Patrick Moriarty and American pianist Stephanie Tang, the Paddington Trio won first prize at the Royal Over-Seas League Competition in 2022 and the Parkhouse Award in 2023.

Its debut album, Freakshow, will be released on Pentatone in January 2027. Watch the trio perform the titular work by Sam Perkin in a performance at Wigmore Hall below:
